Given the fast-paced world we now live in, it’s incredibly easy for our focus to shift toward things that are not only distracting, but also a complete waste of time because they serve no true purpose in the pursuit of our big goals and dreams.
Yet, the more we attend to these time-wasters, the more we get off course and the further away we get from our why, or our core purpose. While we can’t completely limit all the fleeting, time-sucking things in our lives, we can become more aware of how we spend our time.
And so, in the spirit of realigning your focus, take a look through the list below—at least twice.
- Check off which items make you feel good on any given day and that help re-connect you to your why/your purpose.
- Then take another look through the list and put a strikethrough any items that often make you feel drained or distracted.
- Repeat, as needed, whenever you need a reminder to get back on track.
